Rama Arya is the Founder and Executive Director of The Communiqué, a consultancy passionate about capacity building in communication, as well as a successful blogger.
Rama designs and runs communication training programs and workshops (both onsite and webinars) building on her 20 years of experience in communication, PR and external relations with inter-governmental organizations, think-tanks and the private sector. Organizations she has held programs for include Maruti Suzuki, The Boston Consulting Group, Tata Institute of Social Sciences, and Confederation of Indian Industry, amongst others.
As a blogger she has been blogging since 1999 and currently writes two blogs: a personal one on travel, art, and giving back initiatives, and another on communication. Her personal blog has been featured on WordPress’ Freshly Pressed.

Blogging is all the rage nowadays. Everyone wants to be a blogger, whether it be for self-expression, to build a personal brand, or professionally. But there is much more to blogging than just creating a URL. It requires strategy and tactics, creativity and technical know-how.
Some bloggers “evolve,” learning through trial and error and by studying other bloggers. Others, meanwhile, flounder but don’t abandon ship. They mostly often share, at some level or the other, a need for hand-holding and guidance to take their blogs to the next levels but do not know where to turn to.

What the blogging workshop did for me was put me in touch with a part of myself that I had deliberately suppressed.
Unlike other blogging workshops, the deliverables were realistic and rightfully implemented. Very lively and interactive workshop with focus to each of the participants.
